The stuff that makes you agitated is as straightforward as your life choices.\u00a0 You will either have the whole person, raw and unveiled, or the whole world without any people, raw and undone \u2013 these are the subjects that get you agitated in paintings. All the dynamics, the rebel, the thunder and violent emotions expressed through the narrative of a painting fall flat with you. You are the one who has seen a lot and won\u2019t easily go catharctic, it takes the best and the latest artistic techniques and fancies, the sharp mind and the primitively powerful emotions of an artist. <strong>You selected avant garde paintings \u2013 so let\u2019s see what it means<\/strong> before we go on and specify what style exactly makes you click. Avant-garde artists came from the generation who saw and lived the horror, the chaos and desperation of the two world wars, economic depressions and other saucy experiences of the 20th century. What they felt turned out to be impossible to reveal following the <strong>rigid limits and laws of traditional art<\/strong> that regulated the subjects, the forms, the palette and the composition to the letter. Not only did they find it impossible but for that matter harmful\u2026 healthwise.. Here is a good example illustrating this idea. A French artist Fernand Leger witnessed a common military event \u2013 a soldier blown into pieces during an artillery shelling. Now try to imagine the painting it would make, had an artist depicted the scene with the thoroughness of a realist \u2013 would you enjoy the painting? I believe you will agree that Picasso\u2019s \u201cGuernica\u201d is much more humane to express that kind of emotions and impose them on the viewer \u2013 the only thing you need to do is read a little bit about the main principles of cubism. So, the avant-garde artists rejected the tradition of fine arts and started looking for new ways to reveal their artistic experiences. Each art movement of avant-garde, among which are <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/artgallery-guide.com\/en\/cubism-in-fine-arts\/\">cubism<\/a><\/span>, <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/artgallery-guide.com\/en\/futurism-in-fine-arts\/\">futurism<\/a><\/span>, <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/artgallery-guide.com\/en\/surrealism\/\">surrealism<\/a><\/span>, <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/artgallery-guide.com\/en\/expressionism-in-fine-arts\/\">expressionism<\/a><\/span>, <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/artgallery-guide.com\/en\/abstract-expressionism\/\">abstract expressionism<\/a><\/span>, <a href=\"http:\/\/artgallery-guide.com\/en\/abstractionism-in-fine-arts\/\">abstract art<\/a> etc. features its own peculiarities, drives the search for new techniques in its own direction, each movement suggested and rejected some new or old artistic ideas. Some of the artists ruled out the social focus from the paintings and declared the elitist character of fine arts that had to solve the problems limited to the artistic, aesthetic plain. Some of them took up the idea of revealing the social protest. Some of them tried to escape the reality into the worldof visions and hallucinations, the subconscious field (<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/artgallery-guide.com\/en\/surrealism\/\">surrealism<\/a><\/span>), and some of them savoured the agony and infliction of a modern man (<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/artgallery-guide.com\/en\/expressionism-in-fine-arts\/\">expressionism<\/a><\/span>).
